This commercial property owner requested that the 400W Hight Pressure Sodium Soffit Lighting be replaced with an appropriate LED Replacement.  

We reduced their electrical utility by 80%, and the uniformity and constancy found in that space are appropriate.

We achieved the recommended light levels and finished the project, leaving the client in a position to receive a simple payback based on energy savings in less than 1 year.

While Reducing the Existing wattage over 50%, and increasing the light levels, uniformity, and light quality, we can call this a success.

It was a pleasure working with MaxLite, Inc. and with the School District of Fond Du Lac on this project.  We hope the fans and players enjoy this solution for many years, while the maintenance and efficiency of the solution assist with budgeting and finance for the district and public.

Achieving better uniformity and a reduction of electrical utility by 65%, the AOK-150WiT replaces 400W Metal Halides, and along with that replaces the requirement of maintenance with a warrantied product and a sustainable lighting solution.  

Using 1000 Watt HPS Fixtures this system utilized over 17,000 System watts.

This was reduced to just over 1/4 of that utilizing a IP65 Rated 280W Luminaire with Glare Reducing optics.

Notable energy savings and thorough distribution ofuniform light were accomplished with this 1:1 Fixture exterior lighting upgrade.

Moving from 250W HID to 100W LED luminaires was the recipe for a DLC Listed, Focus on Energy Applicable upgrade.
